Director's Message

As the Director of the Dementia and Aging Care Research Center, I am proud to share our commitment to enhancing the health and well-being of older adults through comprehensive, respectful, and dignified healthcare. Our mission focuses on improving the quality of life for older adults’ individuals, especially those with dementia, by integrating targeted educational programs and evidence-based practices with the latest research. This combination empowers healthcare professionals, caregivers, and families to provide exceptional, patient-centered care.

Our organization leads in advancing older care through bio-engineering, innovative nursing, and global collaboration. We develop cutting-edge technologies to enhance the quality of life for older adults and design nursing practices tailored to the unique needs of dementia patients. We are also dedicated to fostering sustainable practices in older adults care, prioritizing long-term solutions that respect the dignity and well-being of older adults. We advocate for age-friendly communities, active aging, and social inclusion, while shaping health policies to ensure comprehensive, equitable, and high-quality care. Further, our research also addresses the societal impacts of dementia and aging, focusing on family dynamics, social support networks, economic implications, and sustainable health insurance solutions.

Through cross-divisional collaboration and cooperation with external partners, we are committed to contributing new knowledge, developing innovative solutions, and promoting positive change in dementia and aging care. We invite you all to join us in this mission, as together, we can create a better future for those in need.
